Join our team as Finance Manager (maternity leave role)

As the Finance Manager you will report to and work closely with the Business Manager, overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the school and leading our Finance team. Your key focus will be to ensure that the School’s financial processes operate effectively and efficiently to support the educational objectives and that appropriate budget control is maintained.

This opportunity is a maternity leave cover for approximately 12 months and our preferred start date is 22 April 2025.

About You

We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and collaborative candidate who is a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church.

Along with a Bachelor degree in Business/Accounting or similar and a current Working with Children Check you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • experience working with accounting software with proficiency in Excel
  • experience working with database systems (TASS is highly desirable)
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • demonstrated capacity to work as a team member
  • flexibility and interest in working in an innovative and dynamic environment
  • commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
  • excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms
