Penrith Christian School’s purpose-built facilities and diverse learning pathways offer a continuum of learning designed to suit all students from toddler to Year 12.
At PCS we have a range of purpose-built facilities, including:
- large and small learning spaces to suit different class sizes and learning opportunities
- a suite of science laboratories, an indoor sports centre
- an automotive and timber workshop
- and a creative and performing arts studio.
Subjects offered in Years 11 and 12
We offer a range of subjects to cater for the learning interests of our Stage 6 students. These include: Ancient & Modern History, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Children’s Services (VET), Community & Family Studies, Construction (VET), Engineering Studies, English including Ext, Entertainment Industry (VET), Health Services (VET), Hospitality Operations (VET), Industrial Technology (Timber and Multimedia), Information Technology (VET), Legal Studies, Mathematics including Ext, Music, PDHPE, Physics, Society & Culture, Studies of Religion, and Visual Arts.
Key Alliance Partnership
We offer diverse learning pathways to help students pursue a range of future career pathways through our curriculum options and through our Key Alliance partnership, where we offer our students additional opportunities to learn VET courses and gain certificate qualifications in specialised fields.
Service Learning
Service learning is an important part of PCS, and we love to give back to our local community. Through our partnership with local community groups and the Imagine Nations Church on site, our students know what it means to invest in the Western Sydney community.
