We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and collaborative person to lead our amazing Before/After School Care and Vacation Care team. The successful candidate will be a passionate educator who is a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church.
This full time role will see you leading our thriving OSHC service for our students on the school grounds. You will be responsible for:
- Effectively overseeing, supervising and managing the daily operation of our service
- understanding the needs of the children, families and staff
- maintaining the required administrative records and ensuring service compliance with both the regulatory standards and policies and procedures of our school
- rostering, mentoring and developing your team
- have adequate knowledge and understanding of the provision of education and care to children
- providing learning experiences and engaging programs for the students
You will be required to work split shifts during school terms and block shifts during vacation care and pupil free days.
About You
Along with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or a Bachelor Degree in Education, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- experience in a similar leadership role within OSHC
- a thorough knowledge of the regulatory requirements, including compliance and operations for OSHC services through the Department of Education
- successful leadership and management of a team
- collaborative, innovative and effective practice
- highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- fun and positive attitude
- excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms
- current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- national criminal history check (or willingness to obtain)
- Child Protection Certificates
- current Working With Children Check
You will be commencing with us on 20 January 2025. An induction process will be included prior to starting.
