Sports Coach (Netball)

Casual coach required for our Netball Academy

The Sports Coach (Netball) is responsible for delivering the training program to our K‑6 students under the supervision of the Head Coach of our growing PCS Netball Academy.

Initially you will be required for two training sessions each week during school terms. The sessions are being held on Monday afternoons from 2.45pm-4.45pm and Friday mornings from 7.00am-8.20am. As the Netball Academy expands there may be opportunities for further sessions.

About You

We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and collaborative candidate who is a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church. You will thrive in a busy environment and are able to effectively plan and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Along with a current Working with Children Check, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in netball development and coaching of children
  • High level of professional integrity and a passion for sport
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, parents and other members of the wider community
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Current First Aid qualification is desirable, or training will be provided

Previous experience working in an independent school or experience coaching or administering sport in an educational environment will be highly regarded.
