The iCentre is the beating heart of PCS both physically and educationally. Now expanded, the iCentre resides in two locations.
At the hub of Penrith Christian School’s beautiful new Primary School building is the Primary iCentre. The original iCentre has been reconfigured to better suit the needs of our Secondary School students.
Our aim is to enhance and enrich learning and teaching within the total program of the school. We are regularly adding to our collection of books and offer a safe place where students can foster their love of reading, engage in personal study, receive individual research assistance and resource guidance, and socialise with their peers during break times.
Our PCS iCentres are hubs of learning and resourcing for our ELC to Year 12 students across two buildings. The Primary School iCentre welcomes students for literacy lessons and the borrowing of books during class time, and hosts clubs and other activities at lunchtimes. The Secondary School iCentre is a study and resource space available to secondary students at lunchtimes and for non-timetabled lessons for our seniors during the day. This space is also open to students in Years 7-12 after school for study groups or individual study each Monday to Thursday until 3.55pm. Students who use this space after hours should make their way directly to the Senior iCentre following the final school bell, and then be collected by parents from school reception.
The iCentre regularly features in the PCS ePhoCuS offering news, articles and handy tips for helping students along their educational journey.
