We’re back in the swing at Early Learning and it’s been so lovely to welcome so many new families to our Centre. The children are settling well into their routines; we’re very much looking forward to having the rest of the School community join us soon.
Parent Drop Off and Pick Up
Our Centre has reopened for onsite drop off and pick up by parents and guardians. Please enter the Centre through our Toddler Room, and help your child settle in for the morning. Staff will be available to help with unpacking of bags, finding your child’s hat and sunscreen application where required. It will help us tremendously if you can ensure sunscreen has been applied to your child before arriving.
iPads are in the foyer to sign your child/ren in and out; please ensure you have completed this process before leaving the premises. If you are unable to remember your PIN code, please find a staff member, who can help you with this.
Sibling Pick Up
Our Early Learning Centre provides a helpful service of older K-6 sibling collection at school pick up time, and walking them to the Centre. This helps avoid two different pick-ups for parents at this busy time. Look out for an upcoming Storypark post, where you can indicate if you would like this to occur for your family. A list of students is compiled from your indications. You will also need to inform your older children’s teachers via the appropriate forms (distributed early Term 1).
Pick-up occurs under the COLA, near the Kindergarten classrooms, at 2:55pm each day. If your circumstances change and older siblings do not need collection, please inform Katrina as early as possible on the day, so that we can have an accurate pick-up list each day. Any children that are not at the pick-up zone, in a timely manner, will be assumed to be absent and the remaining children will be brought to ELC for collection.
